Calgary trip 2018:

2017 AGM Dinner:
The North Saskatchewan Section of the IEEE will hold its Annual Reception & General Meeting on Friday November 24, 2017, 6pm-9pm, at the Manitoba Room, Saskatoon Inn (2002 Airport Drive) in Saskatoon. You and a guest are invited to a join in for a great meal, an interesting after dinner speaker, and pleasant socializing with fellow members and friends.

This year our guest speaker is Lucien Nel, Director, Safety Health Quality & Risk with March Consulting Associates Inc. He will give a presentation entitled "Cannabis in the Saskatchewan Workplace: Occupational Health and Safety Considerations."

We are excited to announce the formation of the Usask IEEE PES Student Branch Chapter. The IEEE PES Chapter serves the students of the Power Systems Research Group and the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. The chapter aims to promote power engineering related activities at the university, and to develop and organize events to create opportunities to learn and share knowledge.
